Chao Shan cuisine is one of the 3 main cuisine from Guang Dong. The cuisines is originated from Han Jiang area and has been through many years of evolution and development. Chao Shan people has a similar eating habit as Min Nans. Geographically, Chao Shan is part of Guang Zhou, thus Chao Shan food taste and style were heavily influenced by both cultures, In the early days, Chaoshanians traveled and lived in South East Asia and this further in fuse their food with local flavor and make it more flavored and colorful.
